Biography |
Mika Salo and Mika Hakkinen had one of the biggest rivalries in motor racing. This came to a head in the 1990 British Formula 3 Championship when both drivers were pitted head to head in competitive cars. Salo was driving for and Hakkinen for West Surrey Racing. Salo must have been gutted as Hakkinen jumped into Formula One with the Lotus Formula One team and then landed a prestigious McLaren test drive which led to multiple world championship.
